Training exercise involving multiple agencies including police and fire at Prince Albert Airport

Members of the public are advised that if you see a lot of emergency personnel around the Prince Albert Airport today, there is no need to worry.

A joint emergency response training exercise will take place at the Prince Albert Airport today. The exercise, scheduled to begin around 1:30 p.m., will involve members of the Prince Albert Police Service, Prince Albert Fire Department, Parkland Ambulance, City of Prince Albert, and airport personnel.

The various agencies will have a chance to practice a coordinated response to an emergency scenario as well as strengthen their communication and collaboration.

Members of the public may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in and around the airport during the exercise. This is a planned training event and there is no risk to public safety.
