It may have been back to school Wednesday, but all 13 teams in the Saskatoon High School Football League have been in class and practicing since August 24, with the 2026 season set to begin Thursday.
There’s two games at S-M-F Field Thursday, another two on Friday, plus two games in Regina at Mosaic Stadium on Friday as St. Joseph and Holy Cross head down to face Miller and Riffel, respectively. There’s five schools in the 6-A Division and another eight schools in the 5-A Division. Thursday’s games feature Marion Graham and Tommy Douglas doing battle at 5:15, followed at 7:30 by Centennial against Bishop Mahoney.
