Rosthern RCMP received a report of two missing individuals on Sunday evening—15-year-old Mary Charles and 16-year-old Iona Sangwais.
Mary and Iona were last seen on August 23 on the Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation Pow Wow grounds, south of Duck Lake.
Since they were reported missing, Rosthern RCMP have been checking places Mary and Iona are known to visit and following up on information received. They are now asking members of the public to report information on their whereabouts.
Mary is described as:
- Height: 5 ft 3 in
- Weight: 120 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour and style: black and red, curly
- Last seen wearing: dark-coloured clothing
Iona is described as:
- Height: 5 ft 3 in
- Weight: 115 lbs
- Hair colour and style: brown, long and straight
- Last seen wearing: dark-coloured clothing
Mary and Iona are known to travel to the following areas:
- Prince Albert
- Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation
Investigators believe Mary and Iona may be together.
