Saskatchewan RCMP’s Homicide Investigation Unit is asking for the public’s help in finding an SUV potentially connected to a death in Sandy Bay.
Sandy Bay RCMP received a report of an injured man on Sunday around 4:35 a.m. The man was declared as deceased at the scene.
RCMP considered the death suspicious so the Saskatchewan RCMP’s HIU have taken over the investigation.
Investigation has determined that a dark-coloured blue or black van or SUV may be connected to the incident. The vehicle may also have a dent on the vehicle’s driver’s side back tire rim.
Anyone with information about a vehicle matching the description, including its presence in the Sandy Bay community Sunday morning, or have footage from their home security cameras and doorbell cameras that captured suspicious activity, can report it to police, or anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
Investigators advise there will be an increased police presence in the Sandy Bay area for an undetermined amount of time.
Saskatchewan RCMP continue to investigate.
