A two-vehicle collision on Highway #39, just west of Yellow Grass, has taken the lives of two people.

Milestone RCMP received the report on Friday around 9:30 a.m.

An investigation determined two SUVs collided. EMS declared the drivers of both SUVs as deceased at the scene. They have been identified as a 45-year-old man from Saskatoon and a 76-year-old man from the United States. Their families have been notified.

A woman in one of the SUVs was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.

Milestone RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
