Rosthern RCMP are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on Highway #212.

The collision took place on Sunday around 3:45 am, about eight kilometres west of Duck Lake.

EMS declared the pedestrian as deceased at the scene. She was identified as a 33-year-old woman from Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation. Her family has been notified.

The occupants of the vehicle did not report any injuries to police.

Rosthern RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
