Woman found on side of road; Prince Albert Police investigate serious assault

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating after a woman was located on the shoulder of Highway 11 about 11kilometres south of Prince Albert Saturday shortly before noon.

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment. At this time, her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

The investigation has determined she was assaulted in Prince Albert. Prince Albert Police Service investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, with assistance from the RCMP.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has information related to this incident, including dash camera or surveillance video from the area, is asked to contact the Prince Albert Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
