Battlefords RCMP have charged three adults in relation to an attempted break-in at a church in North Battleford.
Last Tuesday at 11:10 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a potential break and enter at a church on Winder Crescent in North Battleford. Officers responded and arrested five suspects.
Police say the would-be thieves didn’t actually get inside and there was no damage to the building however, during a search of the suspects, officers seized an imitation firearm and weapons from an adult male and weapons and bear spray from an adult female.
Consequently -year-old Bridget Naytowhow from Saskatoon, and 29-yearold Darren Stanley from Wilkie are facing weapons related charges. As well 26-year-old Dakota Desjarlais from Saskatoon has been charged with one count, possession of break-in instruments.
The other two arrested individuals were released without charge.
