A second arrest has been made in relation to a bear spray incident at a gas station in Saskatoon back on May 14.
According to a Saskatoon Police Service (S-P-S) news release, a 36-year-old man has been charged with mischief over five thousand dollars and two counts of assault with a weapon. The incident happened at about 9:50 p.m. on May 14 when officers responded to a gas station in the 1600 block of 20th Street West. It had been reported that several employees were suffering from the effects of bear spray after a woman returned to the business with bear spray handed to her by a man in the parking lot. She deployed the bear spray and fled. She had initially been escorted out of the business for damaging items in the store. The 27-year-old woman had earlier been arrested and charged with mischief plus two counts of assault with a weapon.
