The NDP will be travelling to rural communities to talk about healthcare.
The tour is part of the Your Care, Your Say project, and is led by Rural & Remote Health Shadow Minister Jared Clarke and Associate Shadow Health Minister Keith Jorgenson.
The decision to tour came after the Sask. Party didn’t pass Bill 606 during the Spring Sitting. Bill 606 would have required real-time reporting of emergency room closures within one hour.
The tour started on Wednesday in Balgonie. The shadow ministers will head to Fort Qu’Appelle, Melville, and elsewhere.
Next week, the tour moves to Kipling, Swift Current, Moosomin, Estevan, Weyburn, Canora, Yorkton and elsewhere. Further dates will be confirmed for the rest of July and August.
