Prince Albert Police are investigating a shooting that left one man seriously injured early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 1600 block of Muir Drive around 6:40 a.m., where they found a 30-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the victim’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
Investigators say an altercation involving several people escalated to bear spray and multiple gunshots. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. Police believe those involved knew each other and say the incident was not random.
Several homes were damaged by gunfire, but no residents were hurt.
The investigation is ongoing.
