Around 7:45pm on June 17, Buffalo Narrows RCMP received a report of a collision between an SUV and a truck, approximately 10 kilometres south of Dillon.

Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. The driver of the SUV was transported to hospital by EMS. He was later declared deceased. He has been identified as a 64-year-old male from Dillon. His family has been notified.

The passenger of the SUV and both occupants of the truck reported no physical injuries to police.
