Saskatoon Police were called to a school Wednesday morning for the report of bear spray being discharged.

Just after 9:00 a.m. officers arrived at the 2200 block of Rusholme Road.

Upon arrival, officers found multiple people suffering from the spray’s effects. They were treated by members of the Saskatoon Fire Department and released at the scene.

The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival but has been identified and is known to one of the victims.

Police are continuing to investigate.
