Saskatoon firefighters responded to a commercial structure fire in the 100 block of 34th Street East early this morning after smoke and flames were spotted coming from the outside of the building just before 5:45 a.m.
Crews attacked the blaze from the exterior while other firefighters searched the building to ensure everyone had evacuated safely. The fire was brought under control and has since been extinguished, with no injuries reported to civilians or firefighters.
Investigators remain on scene to determine the cause and estimate the damage.
