RCMP have arrested four men in connection to drug seizures in Regina, Moose Jaw and Swift Current.
On March 9, officers arrested a man after illicit drugs and a prohibited firearm were seized at a home in Regina.
In connection to that crime, on April 10, RCMP searched a room inside at a hotel on Diefenbaker Drive in Moose Jaw, where they found 245 grams of fentanyl, 72 grams of cocaine, a sum of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Now, 21-year-old Shobhit and 22-year-old Ritik, who each only have one name, are each facing 5 charges. They were scheduled to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court today.
Later that same day, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment building on Robert Street East in Swift Current. There, they found 282 grams of fentanyl, 556 grams of cocaine, a sum of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Two more men, 21-year-old Ankit Ankit from Niagara Falls and 25-year-old Rohit Deshwal from Mississauga, were arrested at the scene. They also are facing five charges each and appeared in court on Wednesday.
