Prince Albert Police are investigating after the report of an assault in an alley.

On Friday at 5:12 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of the 500 block of 13th Street East.

Officers say they arrived to find the suspect vehicle nearby and arrested two women without incident.

Officers then found a female victim at a nearby home who had sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries consistent with an assault. She was taken to the hospital.

Investigation determined that the women was assaulted by the two suspects in the alley before fleeing the area to seek help. As a result of the investigation, the two accused have each been charged with Aggravated Assault and Forcible Confinement. They made their first court appearance on Monday.
