A 48-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested early this morning after driving through a fence while impaired.
Just after midnight, police received a report of a Dodge Challenger that had driven through the patio fence of a business in the 2300 block of Preston Avenue South.
Police say the vehicle was located a short time later driving in the area of Heritage Crescent and Taylor Street East.
A traffic stop was attempted but was rendered unsuccessful, as the vehicle continued to travel at slow speeds before coming to a stop at Brudell Road and Franklin Crescent.
Upon speaking with the driver, police believed he was under the influence of an intoxicant.
Following an impaired driving investigation, the man was arrested for driving while exceeding .08 BAC.
