Unity and Battlefords RCMP worked together to arrest and charge two individuals in relation to drug trafficking.

On March 28, RCMP conducted a traffic stop in Battleford in relation to ongoing Unity RCMP investigation. Officers arrested the man and woman inside the vehicle and also found 126 grams of suspected meth hidden inside a pizza box.

Now, 70-year-old Melvin Abramson from Wilkie and 26-year-old Micayla Jimmy from North Battleford, are facing charges and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday.
