Early Sunday afternoon another over-height vehicle cause damage, this time at the train bridge which is south of the Attridge Drive Overpass.
Traffic is restricted to one northbound lane; the curb lane has been closed. The bridge is owned by Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Rail and traffic restrictions will remain in place for the rail and pedestrian overpass until CPKC engineers can assess the structure.
The inspections are expected to be complete today. The roadway has been cleared of debris.
On March 5th an over-height load hit the overpass at Highway 11 and Highway 16 on the south side of Saskatoon. Overpass repairs are underway and Highway 11 northbound median and centre lanes are closed while Circle Drive eastbound curb lane and acceleration lane are closed.
On March 12th, an over-height load also hit the overpass at 108th Street.
