Saskatoon’s only competitive high school improv troupe is heading to nationals after snagging the provincial title in Regina this month.
Skits and Giggles is comprised of students from Tommy Douglas Collegiate, who competed against over a dozen teams from Regina and across the province to earn the opportunity. They will be heading to Ottawa for the Canadian Improv Games on April 15.
The group’s coach, Mike Prebble, says the opportunity is thrilling for the students, the school, and the division; and he’s “incredibly pleased to see these students earn this chance at nationals.”
Before they jet off for the capital city, the team is performing one more time locally on March 26 alongside four other teams.
The show kicks off at 7:00 at the Tommy Douglas Collegiate Theatre.
