The University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry has entered into a first-of-its kind partnership with Sao Paulo Research Foundation in Brazil.
The $2 million, five-year research collaboration will see 50 funded oral, dental, and craniofacial projects take place, each involving a principal investigator from both USask and Sao Paulo.
What makes the agreement unique, is that the Sao Paulo Research Foundation typically funds projects at a provincial, state, or university level- not a focused project dedicated to research in a specific area.
The first call for proposals is now open, and the deadline for submissions is May 19th.
