On Thursday, CJWW told you about a theft of wrestling memorabilia from a trailer in Lloydminster. Following additional investigation, RCMP are providing an update.
The incident occurred between 2am and 6am in the parking lot of a hotel on 50th Avenue near 49th Street. Some clothing, belts, jewelry and wrestling memorabilia were stolen. Most of the items, except for the jewelry, were found in an alleyway.
RCMP are now reporting that on Thursday at 5 p.m., they responded to a report of a man trying to sell a piece of the stolen jewelry at a local store in Lloydminster.
The man, who the RCMP describe as a prolific offender, was arrested, and police found two additional stolen pieces of jewelry on him.
Dayton Albert Littlewolfe, 41-years-old, of no fixed address, has been charged for the theft. The ‘Hall of Fame” ring has been recovered by police; however multiple items of jewelry remain missing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lloydminster RCMP.
