Man wanted on weapons and assault charges arrested in Prince Albert

A 25-year-old man wanted on several weapons charges has been located in Prince Albert

Back on August 15th, Waskesiu RCMP aske the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of Xavier Smith.

Smith was wanted on warrant by RCMP for charges including aggravated assault, pointing a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm. These stemmed from an incident on February 23rd.

Smith was since located on September 22 in Prince Albert. He is next scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court Friday.
