The Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team has arrested two men in connection to a drug trafficking investigation in August.
The case focused on two men suspected of trafficking cocaine in the city of Prince Albert. After continued investigation, CRT officers obtained a search warrant for a home in the 1100 block of 18th Street West.
The warrant was executed Thursday. Police tried to arrest the two men, one of which discharged a can of bear spray into the room, affecting a police officer.
Officers also seized 80 grams of suspected crack cocaine, multiple cell phones, digital scales, and $420 Canadian currency. Now 20-year-old Isaac Miaker and 39-year-old Ruac Peter have been arrested. Both men made their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court Friday.
