A third person has been charged in relation to the investigation into an 11-year-old girl being shot suffering serious injuries.

Officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Edgar Street shortly after 2:00 a.m. August 11th and when they arrived, they an 11-year-old girl with a gunshot wound.

Forty-one-year-old Michael Mayer is the latest to be charged and is in court Friday. Some of the charges Mayer is facing including Attempt Murder, Conspiracy to commit Murder and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.

Earlier this week, 20-year-old Anthony Nahbexie and 18-year-old Devon Nahbexie were also arrested and charged in relation to this investigation.
