After the success of the first one, the Saskatoon Police Service has completed a second retail blitz operation.

The blitz took place at three retail locations over four days in August. The shopping centers targeted were in the 300 and 400 blocks of Confederation Drive, Midtown Mall, and between the 1300 block of 8th Street and Arlington Avenue.

The project resulted in a tally of 52 arrests, 64 charges laid, nine warrants executed, and over $6000 worth of recovered stolen property.
