Beginning this year, about 75 Saskatchewan schools will be able to build new playgrounds or upgrade their old equipment thanks to new provincial funding.

The Province will invest $3.75 million annually into the School Playground Equipment Grant Program, which will provide up to $50,000 in matched funding per project.

The program will begin accepting applications in fall of 2025, and the criteria and guidelines for applying will be announced closer to the application process.
