If you see a flame in the sky near Hanley this week, don’t be alarmed.

Beginning Tuesday evening, SaskEnergy crews and equipment will be on site at a location north of the Town of Hanley completing repair work on a damaged transmission line. The venting will take place at SaskEnergy’s block valve site, located within the RM of Rosedale.

People in the area of the block valve may also hear a loud noise during the venting procedure. This is a typical occurrence during the process. Natural gas service in the area will not be affected.
