Traffic is moving again on Idylwyld Drive North after restrictions were put in place in the mid-afternoon Tuesday.

The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) responded to a report of a male in distress on the overpass of Circle Drive East and Idylwyld Drive North.

Officers were eventually able to convince the man to return to safety where he was then transported to hospital for assessment.

The Northbound and Southbound lanes of Idylwyld Drive were blocked off for about two hours and reopened just before 5 o’clock Tuesday.
