Borden product Savannah Sutherland is Sask Sport’s June Athlete-of-the-Month.
Sutherland eclipsed four records in one run in her specialty, the 400-metre hurdles, at the 2025 N-C-A-A Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Oregon. Sutherland secures June Athlete of the Month
Savannah Sutherland set four new records after racing to gold at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, earning June Athlete of the Month honours.
Sutherland attended the Championships in Oregon, where she finished first in the women’s 400-metre hurdles event with a time of 52.46 seconds. She set a new Canadian record, provincial record, NCCA championship record and a new University of Michigan record.
Sutherland was nominated by Saskatchewan Athletics.
