At 5:00 a.m. Friday morning, SaskAlerts issued a critical alert for the residents of Lac La Ronge and Eagle Point. The alert indicates that they must evacuate immediately due to a wildfire heading towards the Industrial Park northeast of La Ronge.
The alert categorizes the wildfire as fast-moving, and evacuees are being told to head to the Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre to take shelter.
