Thanks to the reworking of an old program at Suncrest College, students in the Continuing Care Assistant Program at the Melfort campus will be able to complete the course while also working part time.

A release from Suncrest College says the revamp hopes to combat the staffing challenges currently seen in the healthcare industry.

Students will spend three days in a classroom per week, allowing working students to complete the program within a year.

Applications are being accepted now, and the course will run between this August and next June.
