Two people were killed in car/truck collision about 8 kilometres north of North Battleford on Friday evening.

Police and paramedics responded to the scene on Highway Four around 6:30pm.

A 35-year-old man from North Battleford and a 35-year-old woman from Douglas were in the car and declared dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was transported to hospital with non-life threatening infjuries.

Battlefords RCMP are investigating with the assistance of a collision reconstructionist.
