Using year-over numbers from Statistics Canada, the provincial government has determined that Saskatchewan is second among the provinces when it comes to growth in the retail trade sector.

The province’s retail trade sales increased by $2.1 billion since June 2023, an increase of 3.4 per cent.

Retail sales is a measure of total receipts at stores, or establishments, that sell goods and services to final consumers.
