A Saskatoon woman is facing several weapons related charges following the report of an assault in progress.
On Monday at 2:30pm, police arrived in the 300 block of 23rd Street East.
Upon arrival, officers say they spoke with the victim, who told them he was assaulted with a knife and baton. Shortly after, officers say they detained a woman for a weapons investigation. While searching her, they found a foldable knife inside her purse.
The 44-year-old woman was arrested and is facing charges relating to possession of a weapon, concealing a weapon, and failure to comply with court ordered conditions. She was also found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.
