A 34-year-old Whitewood man has been arrested and charged with cattle theft following three different incidents.
An investigation determined that 14 calves had been stolen from a farm in the RM of Silverwood over the course of three separate robberies. Further investigation determined a man stole the calves and attempted to sell them. Seven calves have since been recovered and returned to the farm.
On July 12th, Ryan Bennett was arrested and charged with theft of cattle over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and trafficking property obtained by crime over $5,000, three counts of each.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Moosomin on August 20.
