A 26-year-old Saskatoon man has been arrested and charged following a drug trafficking investigation.
At 4:03 p.m. Tuesday, in the 1600 Block of Idylwyld Drive, the Crime Reduction Team arrested the suspect, who was suspected to be trafficking cocaine and fentanyl. Cash and Cocaine was seized from the man on arrest.
Then, just before 5 p.m. the same day, a search warrant was executed in the 100 Block of Saguenay Drive. Investigators located and seized cocaine, fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, a prohibited pistol magazine, and a machete.
Additional cocaine and methamphetamine were found inside a vehicle. As a result, the 26-year-old man has been charged with drug and weapon offences and possession of proceeds of crime.
Among thing seized are a Ford Edge SUV, $6990.00 cash, 117.6 grams of cocaine, 37.1 grams of methamphetamine, 26 fentanyl pills, a prohibited 30 round pistol magazine, and a machete.
