Children’s Retrospec Scout bicycle helmets are being recalled due to their potential inability to protect the wearer from head injury.
The affected helmets were sold in sizes small and extra small, in a wide variety of colours and designs listed below.
The company reported that 150 units of the affected products were sold in Canada between February 2019 to March 2023.
As of December 28, the company has not received any reports of incidents in Canada or the United States.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmet and contact Retrospec for a full refund.

- Matte Whisper Pink
The helmets were sold with a green hang tag label listing the name “Retrospec”, the Scout brand name, and the helmet size. The word Retrospec or the Retrospec “R” logo appear on the right side of the helmet.
