The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan is warning investors of the online entity FiatVisions. It may also be under the name Global Invest Ltd.

FiatVisions claims to give Saskatchewan residents an opportunity to invest in commodities, foreign exchange, futures contracts, global stocks and equity indices, however they are not registered to trade or sell securities or derivatives in Saskatchewan and may not be a legitimate business.

Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority Securities Division Enforcement Branch Director Brett Wawro says you can protect yourself by verifying that the seller is registered through the Canadian Securities Administrators’ database at aretheyregistered.ca.
