Nominations for the 2023 Saskatchewan Order of Merit are now open.

The award honours citizens who have made significant contributions in areas such as agriculture, business, industry, community leadership, public service, art, research, and volunteering.

Nominees must be current or former long-term residents of Saskatchewan, and nominations must be submitted for individuals, not groups.

Nominations will be accepted until November 30, and the recipients of the award will be invested by the Lieutenant Governor at a ceremony next year.

Online nominations are encouraged, but nominations will also be accepted by mail, courier or in-person.
