Update: November 28th the Saskatoon Police Service report that Taliyah Kakum and Leland Machiskinic were located and are safe.

The Saskatoon Police Service Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating two missing 12-year-olds.

Taliyah Kakum and Leland Machiskinic were last seen leaving the home in which they resided in the 400 block of Witney Ave. South at 4:30 p.m., on October 9. The two left the home with another resident who later returned, and it is believed they may be together.

Leland Machiskinic is described as 5’6″ in height, 140 pounds with brown, shoulder-length hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black shorts and was carrying a backpack.
Taliyah Kakum is described as 5’8″, 115 pounds. She has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leggings and carrying a blue duffle bag.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts either child is asked to contact the SPS or Crime Stoppers.
