A 31-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested in the early morning hours of this past Saturday following an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit.
At about 1 a.m. on July 22, officers with the Tactical Support Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Avenue W South where they found drug paraphernalia and a stolen scooter. The 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene and found to be in possession of 21 grams of methamphetamine and a machete. He faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and carry concealed weapon.
