A recall has been issued for the Husqvarna 300 Series Snow Throwers due to potential injury hazard.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled product and contact the dealer to arrange for repair.
The auger pulley bolt on certain 300 series snow throwers may loosen, allowing the unit to drive without human input, presenting a potential injury hazard.
As of June 14 , the company has received 11 reports of incidents and no injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 25 reports of incidents and no injuries.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact the dealer to arrange a free repair.
The affected products were sold from July 2022 to February 2023. The company reported that 4,409 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and 2,700 units were sold in the United States.
