A significant amount of fentanyl, cocaine and meth were seized after a traffic stop on Highway 16 near Maidstone last Friday. A news release from the RCMP says while speaking with the two men in the vehicle, the officer became suspicious they had illegal drugs. They were detained and from a search of the vehicle, 3.3 kilograms of Fentanyl, 7 kilograms of crystal meth and a kilogram of cocaine were seized.

The driver, 20-year-old Gurpreet Singh and the passenger 21-year-old Prince Sharma are each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, meth and cocaine. Sharma is also charged with three counts of failure to comply with release conditions. Both were in court today (Mon) and both have been remanded in custody.
