Two people in Regina are facing charges of both robbery and forcible confinement.
Saturday at 10:00am, police were dispatched to a house in the 1000 block of McDonald Street. A man with minor injuries was found at the residence. He indicated that he had been held against his will, as well as assaulted and robbed by a man and a woman at a residence in the 900 block of the same street.
The victim told police there was a second, female, victim that was still inside the residence who had also been assaulted and robbed.
Police went to the residence where the pair was reported to live, located the suspects, and took them into custody without incident. The female victim was also located with minor injuries.
Twenty-eight-year-old Sylvia Petit and Twenty-one-year-old Joseph Windigo of Regina make their first court appearance Monday.
