The Western Canada Lottery Corporation is urging LOTTO 6/49 players to check for old tickets because there are a few unclaimed prizes from as far back as last March. The largest unclaimed windfall is a $1 million MAXMILLIONS ticket from the October 21st LOTTO MAX draw. The ticket was sold somewhere outside of Regina and Saskatoon. The winning numbers from each of these unclaimed tickets are with this story online.
There is a $250,000 prize waiting for someone from the EXTRA on a LOTTO 6/49 ticket from July 2nd. It too was sold outside of Regina and Saskatoon.
The third and final unclaimed ticket was bought in Regina for the March 12th draw. It’s another $250,000 prize from the EXTRA added on to a LOTTO 6/49 ticket.
Winning tickets expire after a year, so there are only a few days left to claim this one. Unclaimed prizes on national games are returned to players through guaranteed Jackpots, and Bonus draws. Unclaimed prizes on regional games are returned to the member provinces and territories as revenue.
