Hundreds of dog toys were donated and delivered to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine for their canine cancer patients. Gillian Gratton, owner of Pet Planet on Primrose Drive, says she partnered with a canine cancer organization called Kali’s Wish to make it happen. Kali’s Wish is a company whose mission is to help pets and their owners with the difficult diagnosis, and the only organization in Canada dedicated to doing so.

This is Gratton’s first year making the donation, and also the first year that Kali’s Wish has been able to make a donation to a Saskatchewan organization. The toys will be given to the dogs throughout the year to make their visits a little more enjoyable.
