The big question mark for the Saskatoon Blades going into this season was how was their goaltending going to be with five-year starter Nolan Maier having aged out of the W-H-L.
Well, through 11 games, the alternating duo of 18-year-olds Ethan Chadwick (pictured at right) and Austin Elliott (pictured at left) are among the league leaders in goals against-average and save percentage while the Bridge City Bunch are off to a 9-2-0 record and on a current six-game winning streak. The Blue and Gold are back in Alberta this weekend for games Friday in Medicine Hat and Saturday in Lethbridge.
