The Royal University Hospital Foundation’s new CEO has taken over the reigns from retiring CEO Arla Gustafson, who had been in that position since 2007.
Jennifer Molloy was introduced by the Foundation in December to become the new Chief Executive Officer, and she officially began the new position on March 1st.
Molloy is from Saskatoon and for the past nine years has been the Director of Development at USask’s Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
She has held fundraising positions at St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, The Canadian Red Cross and the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan.
Molloy joins the RUH Foundation as it moves into the third year of its Mission Possible: Operation New O.R. campaign with the $20-million goal to build and equip new state-of-the-art operating rooms.
The goal is to reduce wait times and support the medical teams as they tackle the unprecedented surgical backlog from the pandemic.
