Update: Police Investigating 3rd Homicide of the Year

Saskatoon Police are investigating after a stabbing on Friday evening.

Just after 5:30 PM police were called to the 1400 block of 20th Street West. Reports had been received indicating that a man had been stabbed, and this was confirmed when officers arrived and found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. Patrol officers as well as detectives from the Forensic Identification Section and the Major Crime Section responded to the scene and say they are interviewing a number of people and the investigation is ongoing.  Traffic restrictions that were placed in the area have been lifted.
